Chiropractors are able to evaluate patients that come to the office, make appropriate referrals, treat those conditions that are within our scope of practice, and provide essential patient education about immunity, prevention, nutrition, and self-care that is not being made available elsewhere.
Most of our patients present with musculoskeletal conditions, and many do not have primary care physicians. Without chiropractors, those patients will either compound the burden on hospitals and urgent care centers, or they will try to treat themselves. Self-diagnosis and treatment are dangerous even in the absence of a public health emergency.
Things are changing by the minute with the release of new findings surrounding COVID-19. At this time, we’ve decided to remain open to help serve our patients and community during this trying time.
